Transmo Insulations & Wires

We've been at 8 Pathak Wadi for quite a while now. If you know Lohar Chawl, you know it's always crowded and there's always something moving. The Peerbhai Building is right in the thick of it. Transmo Insulations & Wires started because we saw how much people needed reliable supplies around here. It isn't a fancy setup. We have shelves full of different wires and insulation materials. People walk in, ask for what they need, and we pull it from the back or the stacks. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard to hear, but we manage. My dad used to say that a business is just about having the right things when someone asks. So we keep a lot of stock. It's dusty sometimes, and the stairs are narrow, but it works for us. Most of our customers are electricians or contractors who have been coming to this part of Mumbai for decades. They don't want a sales pitch. They just want to know if the gauge is right or if the insulation can handle the heat. We spend most of our day checking orders and making sure the rolls are packed properly. It's a lot of manual work. We don't have a big office with air conditioning. Just a desk, some ledgers, and plenty of copper and plastic. If you're coming by, just look for the Peerbhai Building signs. It's easier to walk than drive in these lanes anyway. We're usually here early until the market shuts down for the evening.
