If you try to find us at Transcargo India Pvt Ltd, you have to head down Kalbadevi Road in Mumbai. We are on the second floor of Ranchood Bhavan, right there on 4th Cavel X Lane in the Kantawala area. It’s one of those old Mumbai buildings where the stairs are narrow and the walls have seen a lot of history. It’s a very busy neighborhood, crowded with shops and people carrying bundles of goods everywhere. Our office is simple. We have some old desks, a few computers, and a lot of ledgers. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic and the shouting of the market, but we don't mind it much anymore. We spend our days tracking shipments and talking to people at the docks. There’s no corporate polish here. We wear regular clothes and talk like normal people. Sometimes the monsoon rain leaks a little near the window, and we just move the papers to a dry spot. It’s about getting things from point A to point B without too much fuss. We don't have any grand statements to make.
