Trans Impex Pvt. Ltd. is based out of A-301 in the Chaitanya Chs. We are located right near Bhandup East, which is a part of Mumbai that is always moving. We’ve been in this building for quite some time now. Our work mostly revolves around importing and exporting, which means we spend a lot of time talking to people at the docks and handling a mountain of customs paperwork. It is the kind of job where you are always waiting for a phone call or an email from someone in a different time zone. The office isn't very large, just a few rooms with desks and a lot of filing cabinets. We don't have any fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll just see us working at our computers or arguing with someone on the phone about a shipment. We like being in Bhandup because it feels like a real neighborhood. There are plenty of places nearby to grab a quick snack when things get busy. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just move things from point A to point B and try to make sure nothing gets lost or stuck in customs for too long. It can be stressful when a ship is late, but we’ve learned to take it as it comes. We spend a lot of time with customs agents, and that can be a real headache. But we’ve been doing this long enough.
