We are up on the 9th floor of the C Wing at 215 Atrium, which sits right on the Andheri Kurla Road. Being in Andheri East means we are right in the middle of a lot of action, especially with the Hotel Courtyard Marriott being right next door to us. From our windows in units 916 and 917, you can see the cars crawling along the road below. The building is quite large and we spend a lot of time waiting for the elevators during the lunch rush. Most of our day is spent at our desks handling different parts of the business. It is a typical office environment where people are typing away or talking in small groups about the projects we have going on. Different departments work in this space, so you can always hear people talking or phones ringing. Sometimes the air conditioning is a bit too cold, so many of us keep a sweater at our desks even when it is boiling outside in Mumbai. The lobby downstairs is always full of people coming and going. We have been in this location for a while now and it has become a familiar routine of bad traffic and busy afternoons. We just focus on the logistics and the trading tasks that come across our desks every day. It is not always exciting, but it is steady work that keeps us all busy. We share the floor with a few other companies, but it stays quiet enough to get things done without too many distractions.
