You’ll find us, Total Logistics India Pvt. Ltd., inside the K-1 Tex Center in Chandivali, Mumbai. We are located right opposite the Hdfc Bank, so it’s pretty easy to spot if you know the neighborhood. Nilesh R. Upadhyay is the person who mostly handles the operations here on the ground. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, and the Tex Center is always humming with people and noise. Our office is a working space through and through. There are always stacks of documents and people coming in to talk about their shipments. We handle a variety of logistics tasks, mostly the kind of stuff that keeps businesses running behind the scenes. It gets pretty loud around here with the traffic and the general bustle of the city outside. We don’t have any polished speeches or fancy brochures to give out; we just focus on moving the shipments. Some days are much longer than others, especially when there’s a backlog at the port or a delay on the highway. We’ve been at this for a while and we know the routine well. It’s all about making sure the crates and boxes go exactly where they are supposed to. We eat our lunch at our desks most days because there’s always something that needs checking. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s important work for the companies we help. We just stay focused on the day's list and try to get through every single task.
