Our office is in the Ketki Co-Op Housing Society, specifically in C19-G1. We are located on Ambadi Road in Vasai, which is part of the Thane district near Mumbai. It’s a residential area, so it’s a bit quieter than being in the middle of the city. Total Logistics India has been running from this ground floor unit for a bit. We have a few desks and some filing cabinets where we keep all the records. Being on Ambadi Road means we are close to the main transport routes. We spend our day tracking shipments and talking to transport contractors. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of waiting for people to call back and making sure the numbers on the invoices match up. We don't have any corporate mission statements on the walls. We just have a calendar and maybe a picture on the desk for good luck. The commute in Thane can be a bit much, but we are used to it. We handle a variety of logistics needs for people and businesses around here. We try to be helpful when someone walks in with a question. It’s a small, local team and we all know how to do a bit of everything. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get the work finished before the evening traffic starts.
