Tools And Machinery is based in Malad West, Mumbai. Our office is A/202 in the Shiv Gauri building on Chincholi Bunder Road. Malad is a very crowded place, especially near the link road and the industrial patches. We have been in this building for a long time. The office is on the second floor and it is packed with catalogs, spare parts, and some old computers. Mumbai is known for its humidity and the heavy rains, so we have to be careful about the metal tools not getting rusty. Chincholi Bunder Road is always full of traffic, so there is a constant background noise of horns and engines. We deal with various types of machinery and the tools that go with them. It is not a glamorous job. Most of our time is spent talking to mechanics or factory owners who need a specific part to keep their machines running. We have a small staff who knows where every single bolt and screw is kept. Sometimes the elevator in the building is out of order, so we have to carry boxes up the stairs. It is just a part of daily life here. We drink a lot of cutting chai during the day to keep our energy up. Our customers are mostly local people who have been buying from us for years. We just keep things simple and try to be reliable in what we do.
