You can find us at A/61 in the Virwani Industrial Estate. It’s just off the Western Express Highway in Goregaon East. It’s a massive estate, so sometimes people get a bit lost trying to find our block. We’ve been here for years, and the place hasn't changed much. It’s an industrial vibe, lots of trucks and small factories everywhere. Inside our space at Tokyo Exim, it’s mostly just shelves of samples and desks covered in documents. We do a lot of importing and exporting, hence the name. We aren't actually from Tokyo, but we do a lot of business that way. We don't have a slick reception area. Usually, you’ll just walk in and see one of us on the phone or typing away. We’ve got a small crew who knows how to handle the heavy lifting of trade regulations. Sometimes the monsoon makes the estate road a bit of a mess, but we still manage to get things done. We don’t talk about being the best or anything like that. We just do the work and try to stay organized. It’s a lot of coordination between suppliers and buyers. We just take it day by day and make sure the cargo is moving. It’s a busy life here in Goregaon, and we’re just part of the local machinery. We like the industrial feel of the estate; it makes us feel like we are part of something productive.
