If you come to see us at Tmvt Industries, you’ll find us on the 7th floor of Manek Mahal. The building is at 90 Veer Nariman Road, right in the Churchgate area. It’s one of those older Mumbai buildings with a lot of character and an elevator that’s seen better days. Being on the 7th floor gives us a bit of a break from the noise of the street down below, but you can still hear the city moving. Churchgate is always humming with activity because of the station nearby. Our office isn't one of those modern glass boxes. It has old desks, heavy wooden doors, and cabinets full of technical drawings and files from over the years. We spend our time managing the industrial side of things, even though we’re in a commercial building. Most of the staff has been with the company for a long time, so we all know each other’s habits. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the latest orders or the logistics of moving machinery. It feels more like a family-run place than a big corporation. On rainy days, the sea breeze from Marine Drive hits the building hard, but we just keep the windows shut and get on with it. It’s a grounded way to work, right in the heart of South Bombay, without any of the unnecessary polish or corporate talk. We’re just here doing our bit every day.
