Our place is at 50/3 Momhadali Mansion on Bellasis Road. If you know the Mumbai-8 area, you know it’s always moving. It’s an old building, one of those classic ones you see around this part of town. We handle things for the Times of India from here. It's not the main huge office everyone thinks of, but more of a local hub. The walls are thick and the ceilings are high. We’ve got desks squeezed in where they fit. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at once, especially when we have a lot of papers piled up. The street outside is always loud with taxis and people walking by. We don't have fancy air conditioning that works all the time, so we keep the fans going. It’s a real Mumbai workspace. We deal with the news and the ads and all that. Sometimes people stop by with questions, and we try to help them out. It’s a busy environment. We’ve been at this address for a long time. Everything feels a bit lived-in, from the old wooden desks to the way the floorboards creak. We don't mind it. It’s got character. We just focus on getting the work out every day. It's a lot of coordination and making sure the details are right before things go to print. There is always someone typing away or on the phone here.
