You can find us at 202 Kuntal, which is part of the Mody Estate. We are right near the pipeline on LBS Road in Ghatkopar West. It’s a busy industrial kind of area. The estate is always full of trucks and people moving crates around. Our office is a bit of a mix between a workspace and a storage area. We handle international trade stuff, so there is a lot of paperwork involving shipping and logistics. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into the office, so we are constantly wiping down the desks. It’s not a glamorous job, mostly just tracking shipments and making sure the numbers on the invoices match up. We have a small team here, and we’ve all worked together for quite a while. We know the rhythm of the place—when the deliveries usually show up and when the traffic on LBS Road is going to be at its worst. Sometimes we have to stay late because of the time differences with people in other countries. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a break and talk about something other than work. It’s a solid, functional space. We don't have any big signs or fancy decorations. We just focus on getting the goods from one place to another without too many headaches along the way. It’s honest work in a busy part of Mumbai.
