Our place, Third Eye Research & Developers, is over at D-39 in the AmarGyan Industrial Estate. It’s right across from the S.T. Workshop in Khopat, Thane West. It’s a bit of an industrial area, so there’s always the sound of machinery or trucks moving around. We do a lot of research and development work here. It sounds more complicated than it is; mostly we’re just trying to figure out how to make things work better. The workshop isn't fancy. We have benches, tools, and some computers scattered around. Sometimes the floor is covered in scraps or wires when we’re in the middle of a project. We don't really have a 'front office' style. If you come by, you’ll just see us working. The team is a mix of people who just like building things. We don't have many meetings, we just talk while we work. Khopat is a busy part of Thane, so there’s always somewhere to get a quick bite. We’ve been in this estate for a while now and know the guards and the other business owners nearby. It’s a grounded kind of place. We aren't interested in being some high-tech startup with beanbags. We just use our hands and our heads to get the jobs done. It’s practical, slightly messy, and it works for us. We don't have a lot of rules, just that the work needs to be done right. It's a simple way to spend the day in Thane.
