Thermo Fisher Scientific has its office in the Delphi-B Wing of the Hiranandani Business Park in Powai. We are located in rooms 403 and 404 on the fourth floor. It is a very clean and organized area, which is a bit different from the more chaotic parts of Mumbai. The business park is quite large, so it took some of us a while to stop getting lost when we first started working here. Our office is a typical corporate space with cubicles and a small area where we can make some coffee or tea. It is usually pretty quiet inside, with everyone focused on their computers. We deal with a lot of scientific data and coordination, so there is always plenty of work to keep us busy. The view from the fourth floor is mostly just other office buildings and some trees. Powai is a nice place to be, though the traffic on the way home can be really bad most nights. We don't have many visitors popping in, as most of our stuff is done through email or over the phone. It is a comfortable place to spend the day, and everything works the way it should. We do not have any flashy displays or anything, just a functional workspace for the team. We just come here to do our jobs and then head back to our lives. Most of the staff eats lunch at their desks or in the small pantry.
