We’ve been set up at Dreams The Mall in Bhandup for a good while now. You can find us at Ug-26, right on Lbs Marg. It gets pretty busy around here, but we like the energy. The Society For Surface Protective Coating India started because some of us really cared about how things were built and how they stayed that way without rusting or falling apart. We spend a lot of our days talking to people about paint, chemicals, and whatever else keeps metal and concrete from breaking down. It isn't always glamorous work, but it matters to the industry here. We get visitors from all over who want to learn how to keep their projects lasting longer. The office isn't huge, but it's where the meetings happen. Sometimes the mall traffic makes it hard to get in early, but we manage. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity; we are just a group of people who understand the technical side of surfaces. If you walk past Ug-26, you’ll see us working on reports or planning the next local gathering. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but the need for good coating knowledge stays the same. People come to us when they have a problem with their materials, and we try to point them in the right direction. It’s just how we do things here in Bhandup.
