This particular branch is located in Khar West at Sai Kripa Apartments. We are on 18th A Road, which is a fairly busy street with lots of things going on. Even though the name is big, this office feels more like a local neighborhood spot. We handle various shipping tasks and clerical work that keeps the maritime business moving. There are files everywhere and the phone never really stops ringing for long. Most of us take the train to get here and walk from the station. The office has that old Mumbai feel where everyone knows each other’s names. We deal with a lot of cargo tracking and making sure the ships are on their proper schedules. Sometimes the rain in Khar makes it hard to get around, but we still show up to handle the manifests. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just basic coordination and checking off lists. It’s a lot of manual data entry sometimes. We usually have lunch together and talk about whatever is happening in the news. The building is older but it serves us well enough. Working in shipping means you have to be ready for delays or changes in the weather. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep the workflow steady. It’s a decent place to work if you like being in the middle of Khar.
