The Motor Trade Supply Co is over at 516 Charni Road. We are inside Parekh Mansion, which is one of those old buildings with a lot of history. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling with all kinds of motor parts. It’s a bit of a maze inside because we try to keep as much stock as possible. Charni Road is a very noisy and busy place to be, but we’ve been here for so long we don’t even notice the horns anymore. Parekh Mansion is a sturdy building, even if it looks a bit worn down in places. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights. It’s a proper old-fashioned supply store. You come in, tell us what you’re looking for, and we’ll find it in the stacks. We’ve known some of our customers for decades. It’s that kind of place. We don’t do any marketing or have a polished sales pitch. We just know our parts and we know the trade. Sometimes it’s a bit dusty in the corners because of all the old boxes, but that’s just the nature of the business. We are usually open early and stay until the evening rush is over.
