The Little Door

You can find us in Andheri Khand Bazar at Unit No A-1, A-2A, A-2B. We’ve got that blue door that everyone recognizes, but once you step inside, it’s just a regular place where we work hard to keep things going. The space is spread out across those units, so there’s a lot of ground for the staff to cover. During the day, it’s quiet while we set up the chairs and get the bar ready. We spend time checking the sound system and making sure the lights are dimmed just right for the evening. Once the sun goes down, the crowd starts coming in from all over Andheri. It gets loud and sometimes a bit chaotic when everyone is trying to get a drink or find a spot to stand. We’re usually moving fast, carrying glasses and trying not to bump into anyone. The kitchen stays busy too, putting out plates while the music plays in the background. It’s a lot of late nights and early mornings for us. We spend a good amount of time cleaning up after the rush, mopping the floors and clearing away the empty bottles. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We don’t have any grand statements to make. We just open the door, let people in, and try to keep things moving until it’s time to lock up again.
