The Indo Textile Stores

We are located in Fort, right across from the big SBI main branch. The Indo Textile Stores is inside Sir Vithaldas Chambers on Apollo Street. It's an old building, number 112. The walls are thick and it stays relatively cool even when it's hot outside. We deal in textiles, mostly fabrics and materials that people need for different things. Fort is a busy area with a lot of history. There are always people walking by. We've seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Our shop isn't very large but it is full of stock. We have shelves reaching up to the ceiling. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer is asking for. We don't do much advertising. People usually find us because they work nearby or someone told them where we are. It’s a straightforward business. We open in the morning and stay until the evening. The traffic on Apollo Street can be a nightmare in the afternoons. If you're coming by, it's easier to walk from the station. We handle various types of cloth. Some days we are just counting inventory or talking to suppliers. It’s a quiet life inside the chambers compared to the noise outside. We know the other shopkeepers around here. We just keep doing what we've always done. It's not fancy, just a textile store in an old part of town. We’ve been here a long time.
