It is one of those old-style buildings that has been around for ages. The neighborhood has a lot of history, and you can feel it when you walk down the street. Working in this part of town means dealing with the Mumbai traffic and the narrow lanes, but we are used to it by now. Inside the office, it is pretty quiet compared to the noise outside on the docks and the main roads. We have been doing the pipe business from this spot for a very long time. It is not a flashy place. We have got desks, piles of paper, and people who have been working here since before the internet was a big thing. We just handle the administrative side and the planning from this office. The real heavy lifting happens elsewhere, but this is where the heart of the company sits. Walchand Hirachand Marg is a busy place, especially in the mornings when everyone is rushing to their jobs. We like being in Ballard Estate because it feels solid and established. We do not need a modern glass tower to do what we do. The old stone walls of Construction House are more than enough for us. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the pipe projects. There is always someone coming in or out with blueprints.
