The Gut Clinic

The Gut Clinic is located on the 2nd floor of Sunbeam Chamber, right there on Marine Drive. If you know where Liberty Cinema is, we are just opposite that. It’s a busy part of town, but once you get upstairs to the clinic, things calm down a bit. We spend most of our time talking to people about their digestion and why their stomachs are acting up. It isn't the most glamorous topic, but it’s important to the people who walk through our door. The office has been here for some time, and the building shows its age a little, but we keep our space tidy. You can see a bit of the street from the windows. We see all kinds of people, from office workers nearby to families who traveled a bit to get here. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls. It’s mostly just chairs and the equipment we need for check-ups. Sometimes the traffic outside is loud, but we've gotten used to it. We just focus on what the patient is saying. Most people are a bit embarrassed to talk about their gut, so we try to keep it relaxed. There's no pressure here. We just look at the facts and see what can be done. It’s a practical place for practical problems. We like being near the water, even if we're mostly inside all day. It’s just how we run things at Sunbeam Chamber.
