The Design Creater

We are over here at The Design Creater, right on the first floor of the Tabela Building. If you know the 1St Kumbharwada area in Khetwadi-Girgaon, you probably know where we sit. It’s pretty close to the Round Temple, which is a big landmark for anyone coming through Mumbai 400004. We’ve been doing this for a bit now, just handling design stuff for people who walk in or call us up. It gets quite busy around here with all the traffic and people moving around the temple area, but we like the energy. The office isn't anything too fancy, just a workspace where we get things done. Sometimes the stairs are a bit narrow, but that's just how these older buildings are. We spend most of our mornings drinking tea and looking at layouts before the real work starts. It’s a lot of sketching and clicking on computers mostly. People from the neighborhood stop by sometimes just to ask questions or see what we’re up to. We don't have a big corporate team, it's just us working through projects one at a time. Mumbai life is fast, so we try to keep up with whatever the customers need from us. We’ve got samples lying around and sometimes the place looks a bit cluttered with papers and rolls, but it works for us. If you’re ever near the temple and need to talk about a design, you can find us up those stairs. It's a simple setup we’ve got going.
