Working out of Laxmi Plaza on Link Road in Andheri West means we are always right in the middle of everything. The Laxmi Industrial Estate is a busy place, and there’s always a truck unloading something or people rushing around the corridors. Our office is at number 345. It’s not a massive space, but it fits us just fine. We have some shelves filled with folders and a bunch of stuff we’ve collected over the years. The Design Company india has been here for a bit, and we’ve seen shops come and go in the building. The noise from the Link Road traffic is something you just learn to ignore after a week. We keep our heads down and get through the work. There’s a canteen in the estate where we sometimes grab lunch, but mostly we just eat at our desks. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone writing fancy speeches for us. We just handle the design work as it comes in. The desks are usually covered in papers and pens, and there’s always someone looking for a ruler or a charger. It’s a bit cramped when we’re all in at the same time, but it works for us. Being in Andheri is convenient for a lot of things, even if the parking is a total nightmare. We just focus on the projects and don't worry too much about the rest of the noise.
