You can find us at Sanjay Niwas on N.H.S Road in Bhandup West. Mumbai is a crowded place, and this area is no exception. We are right in the thick of it. The office is in A/1, and it’s a bit of a squeeze when we have everyone in at once. There’s always the sound of traffic and horns blaring outside, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We handle the heavy equipment side of things, mostly focusing on the big machines used in construction. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls, making sure that everything is running the way it should be on the sites around the city. We don’t have much room for anything extra, so every corner is filled with manuals or spare parts that came in for someone. The rain during the monsoon season makes things a bit tricky, but we just keep the door shut and carry on. We are just a small team of people who know their way around an excavator and a backhoe. People stop by to ask questions or check on their orders, and we do our best to give them a straight answer. It’s a simple operation, really. No one here is trying to be something they aren't. We just work the hours and head home like everyone else in Bhandup. It's a living and we take it one day at a time.
