You can find Tejas Gold at 16 Diamond Plaza. We are located at 83/85 Dhanji Street. This part of the city is always moving. Dhanji Street is famous for its gold and jewelry shops. Our space in Diamond Plaza is not very big, but it serves us well. We have some display cases and a safe in the back. It’s a family-run feel even if we have staff. We’ve been here long enough to know most of the people on the street. It’s a lot of sitting and talking to people who come in. We don't do big television ads or anything like that. People mostly hear about us from their friends or family. The office is usually full of the sound of people haggling or just chatting about the news. We keep our books by hand mostly, though we have a computer for the basics. It’s a bit old-fashioned here. We like it that way because it feels more personal. The lights are bright so we can see the details of what we are working on. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink tea, and other days we don't even have time to eat. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop on the block. We just want to be the one people trust when they walk through the door. It’s a simple life on a busy street. We just keep our eyes on the scales and our hands steady.
