You can find our place at 40 Picket Road, on the second floor in the Kalbadevi area. It’s a very crowded part of Mumbai, and just getting to the building can be a bit of an adventure with all the people and carts on the road. We deal with technical instruments and electronics. Our workspace is pretty tight because we have so many different tools and devices squeezed into a few rooms. Instead of a polished showroom where everything is on display, we have a working lab where things are being tested and fixed all the time. There are wires and circuit boards on almost every surface. We aren't a big company with a lot of hierarchy. We are just a few guys who are good at technical work. We’ve been here for a long time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change, but our little office has mostly stayed the same. We don't spend any time on marketing or trying to look corporate. We just do the work that comes in and try to do it right. Sometimes the stairs are a bit much, especially when we have to carry heavy equipment up to the second floor. We usually get our tea from the guy at the corner and keep working until the job is done. It’s a steady, quiet kind of business in the middle of a very noisy part of town.
