Techno Gym

Techno Gym is tucked away at B 304 in Andheri, specifically in the Raviwar Peth area. It is a busy part of town with a lot of markets and old buildings. Our unit is on the third floor, so there are some stairs to climb, which is good for the legs I guess. The building itself is quite old and has that typical Andheri character. We have the usual gym stuff inside, nothing too fancy or high-tech despite the name. It’s mostly iron weights and a few treadmills that we try to keep running. The windows look out over the street and you can hear the vendors shouting downstairs. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. People from the local shops come in after they close up for the day. It’s a bit cramped when it gets busy, but everyone manages. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just open the doors early in the morning and stay until late. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we just tell everyone to use the stairs. It is a very local kind of place. We know most of the people by their first names. Raviwar Peth is a maze, so we tell new people to look for the B wing specifically. It’s just a plain, honest gym for the folks around here.
