Our place is in the Deodhar Centre, unit 424, on Marol Maroshi Road. Being in Andheri East means it’s always crowded and the traffic is pretty much constant. We’ve gotten used to the noise of the city over the years. We deal with trading and technical links, mostly helping other businesses get what they need. The office is pretty standard, some desks, a few cabinets full of records, and a small area for tea. We don’t have a lot of visitors, but when we do, they usually know exactly what they’re looking for. It’s a tight-knit group here. Some of us have worked together for a decade or more. We don’t have a corporate handbook telling us how to speak; we just talk to people like normal human beings. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, which is a pain, but we make do with the stairs. We focus on the daily tasks, checking orders and making sure the paperwork is correct. There’s no big secret to how we operate. We just show up, do the work, and go home. We like the local vibe of the Marol area. There are good places to get snacks nearby during the afternoon. It’s just a regular office doing regular business things without any extra fluff or fancy talk. Most of our days are spent on the phone or typing up quotes for local clients.
