Working out of the office on T. B. Kadam Marg is an interesting experience most days. It’s a busy part of the area, and there is always something going on outside the door. Inside, we handle a lot of the usual stuff you’d expect with phone lines and internet services. People come in with their bills clutched in their hands or they have a phone that isn't working quite right. We spend a lot of time on computers or talking to folks across the counter. The desks are a bit crowded with papers and old equipment that needs to be moved out. It’s not the quietest place because the street noise filters in, but you get used to it after a week or two. We have a small corner where we keep the kettle and some biscuits for when the afternoon slump hits. The lighting is that standard office kind that flickers once in a while. Most of the staff has been here long enough to know the names of the shopkeepers nearby. When the rain starts, the street gets a bit messy, so we end up mopping the floor three or four times a day. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to keep the systems running and make sure everyone who walks in gets their questions answered without too much fuss.
