Tata Steel

If you're looking for us, we’re located at 8-2/2, Trillium Residencies in Colombo-08. It’s an interesting spot for a Tata Steel office because it’s right in the middle of everything in the city. Working out of a place like Trillium means we see a lot of people coming and going. It’s not a factory floor, that’s for sure. We handle the administrative and coordination side of things from this address. The traffic in Colombo can be a bit much some days, but once we’re inside, we just get on with the emails and the phone calls. It’s mostly about making sure the logistics for the steel shipments are lined up right. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. It’s a practical space with enough room for our computers and a few files. Sometimes we take a break and look out at the street, but mostly we’re focused on the screens. Being in the 08 district makes it easy to get to other parts of town when we need to. It’s a bit of a mix, having a big name like Tata Steel attached to a residential-sounding place, but it works for us. We try to keep things organized and keep the noise down for the neighbors. It's just a regular office life, really. We show up, handle the tasks on the list, and make sure everything is sorted before we leave in the evening.
