Tata Steel

We have been operating out of 24 Homi Mody Street for a really long time now. Most folks in Mumbai just call the building Bombay House. It is an old, sturdy place that has seen a lot of history over the years. We are Tata Steel, and this is where we handle the main parts of our business. The street outside is usually packed with cars and people rushing to get somewhere. It can get pretty loud with all the honking, but we are used to it by now. Inside, it is a bit more focused. We don't really go for fancy office decor or anything like that. It is just a lot of desks and people working on spreadsheets or talking on the phone. We deal with steel, which is a heavy, basic thing, so we don't feel the need for big marketing speeches or anything too polished. The building itself is right in the heart of Mumbai, which makes it easy for us to stay connected to what is happening. We have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, but Bombay House stays pretty much the same. It is a solid place to work every day. We just come in, do what needs to be done, and then head home like everyone else. There is no secret formula or big corporate plan on the wall. We just focus on the metal and the business at hand without much fuss. It is a good way to work.
