We've been here at the One India Bulls Centre for a while now. Being up on the 20th floor of Tower 2 gives us a decent view of the city, though mostly we just see the other tall buildings nearby. Working on Senapati Bapat Marg means dealing with a lot of traffic every morning. It’s a busy part of Mumbai. Some days the elevators take forever, and we just stand around waiting. Inside the office, it’s mostly desks and computers. We spend our time going through files and talking about trucks and cars. It’s a huge operation, but here in this specific office, it feels like any other workplace where people are just trying to get through their list for the day. Sometimes we grab tea from the little stalls downstairs when we need a break from the air conditioning. It gets cold in the office even when it’s boiling outside. People come and go all day. We have meetings that sometimes go on longer than they should. It’s just how it is. We’ve got a lot of history with vehicles in this country, and being part of that from this high-rise is interesting. You see the city changing around you. New shops open up, old ones close. We keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It’s not always exciting, but it’s steady. Every now and then, someone brings in snacks to share, and we all take a few minutes to catch up.
