Tata Metaliks Ltd

We are based over at D-1, Kulswamini Krupa, which is right by Gandhi Chowk on Phulpada Road in Virar East. If you know Virar, you know it’s a bustling suburb of Mumbai where everyone is always on the move. The office for Tata Metaliks Ltd is tucked away in this building, and it’s a fairly busy area with lots of shops and people walking around. The commute on the local train can be pretty rough, so by the time we get to the desk, we are usually ready for a strong coffee. The space itself is quite simple and doesn't have any of those modern glass walls or fancy carpets. It’s just a solid place to work. Gandhi Chowk is a bit of a landmark, so people don’t usually have trouble finding us. The noise from the street is constant, but it kind of keeps us energized. We spend most of our time looking at spreadsheets or talking to people on the phone about supplies. It’s a very straightforward operation. We don’t have a big reception area or anyone waiting at the door to greet you. You just walk in and we’re there doing our thing. Sometimes the monsoon rain leaks a little near the window, but we just move the desk and keep going. It’s a real, local office for real work. We like being part of the Virar community and the daily hustle that comes with it.
