Tarun Transfer Works

Tarun Transfer Works is located right here on Sitaram Murai Road in Sewri. If you know the area, we are situated behind the Sewri Bus Depot, which is a busy spot most days. We share the space on the first floor with C. Jairam & Co. People often have a hard time finding the entrance because the buildings here all look a bit similar, but once you find the stairs and head up, you will see our sign. It is a practical setup we have here. We handle a lot of transfer jobs and keep the machines running throughout the week. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed put in this spot in Sewri West. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we know the local chai shops and the guys at the depot quite well. It gets a bit noisy with the buses coming and going, but you get used to it after a few months. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. Sometimes the electricity acts up in the monsoon, but we manage. If you are coming down to see us, just tell the rickshaw driver to go behind the depot and look for the Jairam building. It’s easier that way. We spend most of our time focusing on the orders on our desks. It is simple work, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening.
