You can find us at Udyog Mandir on J.S.S. Road. We’ve been in Goregaon for quite some time now. The building is an old industrial spot, so it’s got that working-class feel to it. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren’t looking for it, but we like the quiet. We spend our days mostly working with our hands. The space is filled with small parts and tools that we’ve gathered over the years. Some of the machinery is a bit old and makes a lot of noise, but it still works fine for what we need. We don’t have a big sales floor or a receptionist. Usually, if the phone rings, one of us just wipes our hands and picks it up. It’s a straightforward business. We make what we can and try to keep things organized, though that doesn’t always happen when we’re in the middle of a big job. The neighbors in the building are mostly other small workshops, so there’s always someone moving crates or loading a van nearby. The traffic on J.S.S. Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, but inside the building, it’s mostly just the sounds of the other shops. We have a small kettle for tea that gets used a lot during the day. It’s these little things that make the day go by easier. We don't have a lot of visitors, which is fine by us because it means we can stay focused on the tasks.
