You can find us on the ground floor of the Arcadia Building. We are in the Gidc Industrial Estate area, which people sometimes call Nariman Point around here. It’s a busy industrial zone, so there are always trucks moving and people rushing about. At Talank Impex, we mostly deal with importing and exporting different goods. The office is on the ground floor, which is handy because we don’t have to deal with the elevators when we are moving samples around. It’s a solid building, maybe a bit grey, but it works for us. Inside, it’s mostly just us at our computers or on the phone with customs or suppliers. We have a lot of folders piled up on the desks because the paperwork for international trade never seems to end. It’s not a quiet place. There is always the sound of printers or someone talking loudly to a shipping agent. We’ve been in the Arcadia Building for a few years. We know the tea stall guy right outside the main gate pretty well. We don't use big words or try to sound more important than we are. We just handle the logistics and make sure the cargo moves from point A to point B. Sometimes things get delayed at the port and we have a stressful afternoon, but that’s just part of the trade business.
