Talakshi Lalji & Co.

Our office is tucked away in the A wing of Gokul Arcade, specifically units 224 and 225. Subhash Road is always busy, especially being in Vile Parle East. You know how it is in this part of Mumbai, cars honking and people everywhere. Talakshi Lalji & Co. has been operating out of this spot for a good bit of time. The arcade itself is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it, but once you find the A wing, it’s not too bad. We have a lot of neighbors in the building, mostly other small businesses and shops. The space inside is mostly just desks and a lot of ledgers. We aren't into that modern open-office stuff you see in magazines. It’s just a place where we sit down and handle the day's tasks. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles during the peak of summer, but we’ve got fans to help out. Most of the staff takes the train since the station isn't too far a walk. We usually grab lunch from the local spots nearby, there's a lot of good food around here. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. It’s just us. If you come by, you’ll probably see someone sorting through papers or talking on the phone. It’s a practical way to run things, and it works for us. We keep things moving without making a big fuss about it.
