Even though the name mentions Patna, we are actually operating from Andheri West in Mumbai. Our office is on Level 3 of the Vikram DLH building. It’s a very recognizable spot because we are right above the Audi showroom on the New Link Road. The traffic on the Link Road is something we talk about every single morning. It’s loud and constant, but you get used to the hum after a while. Our space at Taj Group Of Company is pretty straightforward. We have a few rooms where we manage our various business interests. The office is mostly functional, with standard furniture and some plants that we try to keep alive. Since we are on the third floor, we get a good view of the cars moving below. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is busy, but it keeps us moving. We spend a lot of time on calls and dealing with the various people who come in and out. The area is full of energy and there are always new shops opening up nearby. We have our own way of doing things, which usually involves a lot of coffee and quick meetings in the hallway. It’s not a polished corporate headquarters, just a place where we handle the day-to-day affairs of the company. We like being in Andheri because everything you need is just a short walk away, even if the walk is through a lot of crowds.
