Taha Impex Continental Overseas

Kazi Sayed Street is a very narrow place in Mumbai. It is usually full of trucks and people carrying heavy bags. Our office is G1 and G2 in Swasti House, which is an older building at number 70. Sometimes it feels like the whole world is trying to squeeze through this one street. Inside Taha Impex Continental Overseas, things are a bit quieter, but you can still hear the shouting from the market outside all day long. We deal with a lot of international shipping stuff, so there are always stacks of papers on the tables. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a long time and know most of the other business owners around here. It’s not the kind of place where you come for a quiet meeting. You come here to get things moved. We drink a lot of tea from the stall at the corner while we wait for the transporters to arrive. Most days start early and end late, especially when there is a deadline for a shipment. It is just a regular office where we keep track of everything going out. Sometimes the monsoon rain leaks in a little near the window, but we just put a bucket there and keep working. We are used to the chaos by now. It is just how life is on Kazi Sayed Street.
