T.M Gifts & Impex.

Our office is on the 4th floor of the Bussa Industrial Estate. It’s over in Lower Parel West, right near that big Peninsula Corporate Park. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets during office hours. We’ve been at T.M Gifts & Impex for quite some time now. Being on the fourth floor means we get a bit of a breeze sometimes, which is nice in the heat. It’s an old-school industrial building, nothing like the glass towers you see across the street. We handle a lot of different gift supplies and some import-export work. It keeps us on our feet. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking the latest shipments that come through the door. It’s a bit of a climb if the elevator is busy, but we’re used to it. The space is filled with samples and boxes of stuff we’ve brought in. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. Just desks and shelves mostly. Lower Parel has changed so much since we first moved in, but the Bussa estate still feels like the old Mumbai. People around here know us as the guys who are always sorting through piles of items. We don't do much talking about ourselves, we just focus on the work at hand. It gets loud outside with the traffic, but we stay busy inside. We keep a small kettle for tea and usually eat our lunch right at the desks. It’s a practical way to run things.
