Sylkh Trade Holdings

Our office is located at B 401 in Sanskriti Park, which is on Mahakali Caves Road in Andheri East. If you know Mumbai, you know how packed this area can get. The building is part of a larger complex, and there’s always a bit of a wait for the elevator in the morning. Sylkh Trade Holdings operates out of this fourth-floor space. It’s a typical Mumbai office—compact and filled with paper. We have rows of filing cabinets and a few desks pushed close together. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and the constant stream of traffic below. It gets quite loud with the horns honking, but we’ve learned to tune it out. We don't have any flashy signs or a big lobby. You just walk through the door and you're right in the middle of the workspace. There’s a small pantry where we make tea, and that’s usually where the chatting happens. The afternoon sun hits the windows pretty hard, so we keep the curtains drawn most of the time. Working in Andheri East means we are always in the thick of things. We deal with a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the day. It’s not a glamorous setup, but it’s where we get our work done. By the time evening rolls around, we’re usually watching the clock to beat the worst of the train rush. It’s just a normal day in a busy city.
