Swastik Scientific Company

Swastik Scientific Company is based in the heart of the old city on Princess Street. We are at 133, Gopal Niwas, in Room No. 2 on the second floor. Princess Street is a very famous place for scientific and chemical goods, but it is also incredibly crowded and narrow. Our office reflects that history. To get to us, you have to go up some old stairs that have been there for decades. The room itself is filled with glassware, laboratory tools, and all sorts of scientific equipment. It’s a bit of a squeeze, and every inch of space is used for storage. The building, Gopal Niwas, has that old Mumbai charm, but it also means the ceilings are high and the walls are thick. We’ve been operating from this second-floor room for a long time now. Most of our day is spent carefully packing fragile glass items or looking up specific parts for local labs. It gets quite loud outside with the handcarts and the shouting of the street vendors, but inside we just keep to our work. We don't have any modern glass partitions or fancy decor. It’s just old wooden cupboards and sturdy desks. We know our regulars well, and they know they have to climb the stairs to find us. It’s a traditional way of doing business in a part of the city that hasn't changed much in years. We just focus on the equipment and getting things sent out to the colleges and labs nearby.
