We operate out of 303 in the Jogani Industrial Estate on J.R. Boricha Marg. Lower Parel is a very different place than it used to be, but our corner in the estate feels pretty much the same. Swasti Vinayaka Gems Corporation Ltd. might sound like a big name, but we are a practical bunch. The office is filled with the tools of the trade and a lot of paperwork that seems to multiply on its own. It’s a hardworking environment, not a fancy showroom. We spend a lot of time looking at small details and making sure everything is counted correctly. The industrial estate is always humming with activity, which keeps us on our toes. We have been in this spot for quite some time, so we know all the other shop owners nearby. It’s a community of people just trying to get through their daily tasks. We don't have a lot of time for fluff or polished speeches. We just talk about the work and what needs to be finished by the end of the day. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to do, and other times we leave early if things are quiet. It’s a simple, honest way to run things. We like the grit of Lower Parel and the way people here just get on with it.
