You can find us over in Antop Hill, specifically in the AmbikaWadi Hutments area. We are on the ground floor of a building near Korba Mithagar, right off what people call Dada Marg. It’s a very crowded part of Mumbai, but that’s just how it is here. The office is small and tucked away near the RJ Gaikwad spot. We have been operating from here for a bit, helping people with their small savings and the multi-nidhi stuff we do. It’s a lot of face-to-face talk because people in the neighborhood like to stop in rather than call. We have desks and some chairs for whoever is visiting. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, but we have the fans going. We don't have a big corporate setup. It’s just a local office for local people. We handle the paperwork, collect the small deposits, and keep the records straight. Sometimes the street outside is so noisy we have to shout a bit to be heard, but we are used to it by now. Most of us grew up around here or have lived in Mumbai long enough that the hustle doesn't bother us. We just open up the shutters every morning and start the day's work. It’s a simple routine and it works for the folks living in the hutments around us. We often share a cup of tea while we go over the files in the afternoon. It helps pass the time when the paperwork gets a bit heavy and tedious during the week.
