Swagelok Company, Mumbai is based in units 305/306 Turf Estate Dr. E. Moses Road. It is a busy area, and the estate itself always has a lot going on with people coming and going. Our space is mostly dedicated to valves, fittings, and all the stuff that helps fluids and gases move around safely. It is not a very exciting thing to talk about for most people, but for us, it is what we do every single day. The office is full of bins with different sized connectors and tubes. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting with people who need very specific parts for their plumbing or gas lines. We are not a corporate showroom. It is more of a practical hub where we keep stock and help people figure out what they need for their systems. Mumbai traffic can be a nightmare, so we try to be efficient with our deliveries and meetings. We have got a small team here who really knows their way around a wrench and a pressure gauge. Sometimes we are out at a customer’s plant all day, and other times we are just here organizing the shelves and counting inventory. We do not use a lot of fancy talk. If a fitting does not leak, then we have done our job properly. It is just about providing the right parts and making sure they fit where they are supposed to.
