Suvarna Deshpande Lele

I, Suvarna Deshpande Lele, run my practice from my home at 1612/C in Kulup Wadi, Borivali East. It is a residential neighborhood, so it stays much quieter than the main streets near the station. I’ve set aside a room specifically for my work, and it’s filled with bookshelves and stacks of folders. Most of my morning is spent answering emails and then I move on to the actual project work for the rest of the day. It is a very personal way to handle things since I don’t have a big team or a corporate office. When people call, they get through to me directly. Since it’s a home office, you might sometimes hear the sounds of the house or the neighborhood in the background, but that’s just how it is. Kulup Wadi is a pleasant area with plenty of trees and families, which makes for a nice working environment. I have been based here for a long time and I’m quite used to the setup. My desk usually has a lot of sticky notes and pens lying around, but I have my own way of keeping things organized. I don’t really like the idea of a cold, sterile office space, so I prefer working from here. I take on the work as it comes and try to do a thorough job for everyone I work with. It is a quiet, steady life and it suits my way of working perfectly.
