Surya Decoratives Pvt. Ltd. is located at 14/1 in the Satar Chawl. We are part of the Sasoor Building on Abdul Rehman Street. If you have ever been down this street, you know how crowded it gets. There are people everywhere and it is always loud. We have been here for a long time. Our space is filled with all sorts of decorative items. It is mostly boxes piled up and stuff sitting on shelves. We spend a lot of our time just moving things around so we can find what a customer is looking for. It is a busy environment. We don't really have a lot of space for a lounge or anything like that. It is a working office and a storage area combined into one. The stairs in the building are a bit steep, but you get used to them. We see a lot of different faces every day because of where we are located. Most of the business is just handling orders and making sure things get sent out to where they need to go. It is not a glamorous job, but it is what we do. We have known the other shop owners on Abdul Rehman Street for years. We all just try to get through the workday. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out. It is just part of being in this old building. We don't plan on moving anytime soon. We just keep the doors open.
