We are located over at 16-A in Singh Industrial Estate No.1, right on Ram Mandir Road in Goregaon West. Surgical Products Of India is more like a warehouse than a fancy office. We have high ceilings and lots of metal shelving units filled with various products. It stays pretty cool inside because of the way the building is made, which is good during the hot summer months. We spend a lot of our day on our feet, moving between the storage rows and the shipping area. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when the heavy crates arrive from the factory. We don't have a lot of visitors, mostly just delivery drivers and the occasional contractor. The main desk is usually covered in clipboards, pens, and old coffee mugs. We like it this way because it’s practical and we know where everything is. There’s no need for anything fancy when you’re just moving medical goods around. We eat lunch together in the small break area and then get right back to the orders. The traffic on Ram Mandir Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we try to get our big shipments out early in the day. It’s a steady, quiet kind of life here in the industrial estate. We just focus on the task at hand and try to keep things as simple as possible for everyone involved.
