Suresh Shantaram Kapdoskar

I run things here as Suresh Shantaram Kapdoskar in Dadar West. The office is in Flat 201 on the second floor of the Kshiti building. Dadar is always moving, so there is never a dull moment outside our window. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes. Inside, it is a modest setup. I have a big desk and some shelves that are completely stuffed with folders and old registers. I’ve been working from this flat for years and I know every creak in the floorboards. It is not a place for big meetings or fancy presentations. It is just a workspace where I handle my daily business and talk to people who need help with their paperwork or projects. My assistant helps me keep things somewhat organized, though we both know where the mess is. We get a lot of natural light in the afternoons, which is nice. Sometimes the noise from the station reaches us, but it’s just part of being in Dadar. People stop by quite often just to drop off documents or have a quick chat about their requirements. It is an honest, local way of doing things. I don't see any reason to change it or move to a bigger, colder office space. We just keep our heads down, do the work, and make sure everything is sorted by the time we lock up for the evening.
