Supreme Leather

We’re tucked away in Deep Plaza, units 111 to 118, on M. N. Road in Kurla West. If you know Kurla, you know it’s always moving. Supreme Leather is just one of the many businesses here. We have a few units side by side, which makes it easier to keep things moving. The smell of leather is everywhere, it’s something you get used to after the first week. We spend our days sorting through hides and checking the quality. It’s dusty work and your hands get stained. We don’t mind it. The staff is like a small family, really. We’ve had the same people for years. We eat lunch together and talk about the local news. Deep Plaza isn't the newest building, and the elevators can be a bit slow, so we usually just take the stairs. Our workspace is cluttered with tools and scraps. We try to keep it tidy, but it never stays that way for long. There’s always an order to finish or a shipment to pack. We don’t have any fancy brochures. People mostly find us by word of mouth or just by walking past. It’s a practical business. We work hard, we pay our bills, and we try to do a good job. Nothing more to it than that, honestly. It’s a living, and we’re happy to have the work to do every single day.
