Our office is located over in Andheri East, right on the Andheri-Kurla Road inside Acme Plaza. It is a very crowded part of the city, and the traffic right outside our door can be quite intense during the morning and evening hours. Being in the pharmaceutical industry means there is always a lot of work to be done and never enough time to do it. Our office is fairly large because we have several different departments all working under one roof. It is not one of those modern offices with glass walls and bean bags; it is a very traditional setup with rows of desks and plenty of filing cabinets. People are always walking back and forth, talking about shipments or regulations. Even though the company name is well-known, the atmosphere in our office is very down-to-earth. We have many employees who have been with us for decades. We just focus on getting the medicines where they need to go and making sure all the paperwork is in order. It is a lot of hard work, but we are used to it. Lunchtime is usually the only time things quiet down as people open their tiffins or head out to the local food stalls. We do not use fancy language to describe what we do. We are just a group of people doing a job that needs to get done every day. It can be exhausting sometimes, but there is a good sense of satisfaction when the day is finished.
